We offer a wide variety of events at each of our branch locations in Sullivan County! From storytimes, book clubs, craft projects, and more, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Teen Squirt Gun Painting at the Thomas Memorial Branch

Ages 12-17 can unleash their inner Jackson Pollack with this painting activity using squirt guns. Frame your creation or use it as  stationary, wrapping paper or cut it into bookmarks. This is fun and creative exercise after a long week of learning. Please RSVP by August 17th

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library. 

Participants may sign up online or in the library.
