The Writer’s Group will be having their meeting. If you are serious about writing whether you have ever been published or not, this is a time to get together with like-minded individuals. If you wish to submit items for workshopping please have them in to the Google Drive by September 8th. If you need access to the Google Drive please call the Blountville branch at 423-279-2714 to receive an invitation. You DO NOT have to submit work to attend the meetings. You may join at anytime.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
