For Read Across America, we will celebrate one of the greatest children’s books of all time, ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. In honor of this G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) we will have a goat visit from our Library Director’s farm at 1pm followed by a story-time and a craft relating to our stories at 2:30pm. Please RSVP by March 1st by stopping by or calling 423-239-1100.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
