The goal of the Tennessee Tree Day event is to plant and care for one million native trees in Tennessee by 2025. 100 trees will be available at the Sullivan County Public Library Blountville branch from 10:00am until they are gone. The trees will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
