Our pre-school story-time is great for kids ages 2-5 years old. Each week follows a theme that will help build skills for school while still being fun and entertaining for the kids. All branches have the same theme, so if you miss the day at your regular branch you can attend at another.
This week’s theme is: “Thanksgiving!”
We’ll be taking a break from the alphabet to get in the holiday spirit! We’ll read books about Thanksgiving and how people celebrate it and we’ll make a Thanksgiving craft.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
