We will read books about the Chinese New Year and the culture that celebrates it. We will snack on mandarins, a sign of good fortune to the Chinese, and make origami fortune cookies. Please sign up at the Sullivan Gardens branch, by phone or on Facebook if you plan to attend. There is no charge for this program.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
