This is the second in our Extra Credit series for homeschool students. Homeschoolers age 7-12 can come learn about how the library works and what librarians do. They’ll get a behind the scenes look at librarianship and learn about the Dewy Decimal System and other systems different libraries use.

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
