If you have a Chromebook, perhaps you even received it through one of our TESS classes last year, and you’re ready for a refresher course then we have you covered! Join us for a 5 day course in October of computer basics to review navigating your Chromebook, its apps, popular websites and common functions that can help you feel confident in your internet adventures. Participants must have a Chromebook computer, register for the course and attend all 5 classes. Please call the Blountville branch to register at 423-279-2714.
Computer Basics classes: 10/8, 10/10, 10/15 and 10/17 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Finding and Evaluating Information Online class: 10/22 from 1:00pm-2:30pm.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
