Art History with Daniel is a kids’ art history program for homeschoolers age 8-12. Each week we study a different artist, the movement they were a part of and how their art has influenced others. This week we’ll be learning about:
Yayoi Kusama – A Japanese contemporary artist who works primarily in sculpture and installation, and is also active in painting, performance, video art, fashion, poetry, fiction, and other arts.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
