The Bloomingdale Branch will be hosting an Amazing Mind-Day. Amazing Mind-days are a chance for elementary age kids to come to the library and stretch their brains after school through fun and creative activities that use all kinds of areas of the the brain! This week we will be building several types of model airplane and figure out which ones fly the farthest and why!
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
